Tricia Hales, Principal of the Academy, currently teaches the piano and voice to both children and adults in London and operates as Music For Fun. She has had considerable success in guiding all those who wish to sit their examinations for the ABRSM, from Prep Test to Grade VIII.

Tricia has a wonderful flair, especially with the young, in building up a very close pupil teacher trust, which enables even the most diffident children to gain confidence and then success in their field. She has been a member of the London Bach Choir since 1991.

Her passionate belief is that the younger the children start to know about music the greater will be their lasting involvement, to the extent that in 2006 she undertook considerable research in this area. It included a visit to New York to study what was being done in a very professional manner at one of the very well renowned Music Schools in NYC.

This has resulted in the formation of The Early Learning Music Academy.
